She Blooms founder Chanel Hall knows firsthand that motherhood can be as messy as it is magical. Born from her own journey of navigating motherhood, healing and learning what self-care really looks like beyond bubble baths and green smoothies, She Blooms is all about giving women the kind of support she once craved herself. With a special focus on maternal mental health, body confidence and building self esteem, she provides compassionate guidance to help women thrive and embrace their full potential. Here, Chanel talks to The Natural Parent Magazine about how it all began, the leaps of faith along the way, and why she believes every woman deserves a safe space to grow, heal and fully bloom.

The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?

She Blooms was born from a deep desire to create the kind of support I so desperately needed during some of life’s messiest, most magical moments. I always knew I wanted to support mums, I just had no clue how that would look (spoiler alert: it didn’t involve a five-year plan and a perfectly curated Pinterest board).

Through my own wild ride of motherhood (which you can see splashed all over my Instagram, if you’re interested!), healing my relationship with food (what a ride!), learning to understand myself, and figuring out what it actually means to take care of myself (beyond bubble baths and green smoothies), I realised so many women were carrying similar stories! We just do it so quietly, and often alone.

So, I decided to build the kind of space I wish existed. One where women feel safe, seen and supported as they rewrite their story. A space to heal, grow and fully bloom in whatever way that looks like for them.

The launch: How did you start out in the beginning?

In the early days, I was squeezing in sessions wherever I could! Nights, weekends, lunch breaks, you name it. I even ran a ‘pay what you can’ setup, which made some people look at me like I had two heads… but it felt right, so I went with it. And guess what? It took off!

It showed me just how many women are craving this kind of support and how many hurdles are still in the way for women. I knew this work mattered, but this was my confirmation. So I did the scary thing, took a big ol’ leap of faith… and here I am, working in this space full time, building something real, beautiful and heart-led. Wild? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

The innovation: What was the biggest breakthrough for you with your business?

The biggest breakthrough in my business was realising that staying true to my values would always guide me in the right direction. Running ‘pay what you can’ sessions felt right in my gut even when others told me it was a crazy idea. But I trusted myself, and it worked. That moment taught me that I don’t need to mould myself into what others expect, I just need to lead with heart. I’m not trying to be anything I’m not; I’m simply a woman who cares deeply about supporting other women. And that authenticity has been the most powerful driver of growth in my business.

Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?

Balancing work and family was a huge driver behind going all in on She Blooms. My oldest daughter starts school later this year and I want to be present for all of the moments involved with that. The whole work-life balance thing, well, some days I’m nailing it like a boss… other days I’m reheating my coffee for the third time while wearing odd socks and wondering what day it is. That’s life!

But I’ve learned to let go of the guilt and roll with the seasons. I’ve built She Blooms in a way that lets me show up for both my clients and my crew at home, even if it’s not always smooth sailing.

I don’t think there’s any perfect balance in anything really (that I’ve found anyway!), but I’m always checking in with myself, setting boundaries and reminding myself that I get to take up space in both worlds. And that’s the real magic. It’s messy, it’s beautiful, and honestly… I wouldn’t have it any other way.
