As a father to our fisrt born daughter, really helpless and struggling to keep her comfortable. As I want to let my wife get as much rest as possible, but to tend to a baby that is constantly crying is really stressful. Gonna try these few steps see if it helps. I really dont even know what to do anymore but to try anything that suits the baby.

Is it ok to make my 1 month cry it out if he not sick, clean, fed and carried him for awhile but still fussy and don't want to sleep. Could I make him cry it out and for how long?

Great informative video on colic conditions. Thank you! I wished I had this video to help new parents understand this condition. It was exhausting at the time with my newborn!

My baby is 3 weeks old. She was amazing for 2 weeks. Now spends Most of the day crying unless when sleeping or nursing. It’s like she’s rarely awake and content. She hates the 3 different carriers I have. Hates the swing, the floor, the bouncing chair, the pacifier… I thought she was probably not eating enough, then started pumping and giving a bottle just to make sure she’s eating all she needs and more. I have to be doing something wrong…

My baby is two weeks old. Two things help. Milk in her mouth and I just found out a carrier helps too. One sure thing is when she sleeps on her belly. Not safe. But I found a way to get her head steady to the side and she's under constant monitoring..

Hi Emma. My baby boy would cry non-stop for hours starting a week after birth. Being a first time mom, i felt hopeless and depressed even though i had strong family support.
All doctors i had been to dismissed my concerns and did not give even an ounce of advice.
I did my own research and understood that my baby was becoming overtired as im not putting him to sleep soon enough. For me, the swaddling technique was the game changer. My LO hates when i swaddle him and he cries a lot and fights it. But after a good feeding he sleeps longer and wakes up happier. I also watch out for the cues of sleep. Even though i miss them sometimes, he has become a lot easier to soothe than the past.
My son is 4 months now and still needs help sleeping, but i can see light at the end of the tunnel.

My first child was colicky. He was ether eating and crying, sleeping briefly, or crying. I wish you had been around then. I thought it was normal to cry all the time. He is actually autistic and constantly verstimulated.

Gas pain is also a cause for the colicky crying, and can be relieved by moving the baby's legs in certain ways. Checkout videos that teach how to get rid of babies' gas.

There are endless videos on YouTube that address the what-to- do's for your infant who has colic, but have yet to find one that actually dives in to the probable causes.
My grandson who is 2 weeks old is suffering from moderately severe colic symptoms.
Both of my adult sons showed the same type symptoms within their first week of life. Being a new mom I looked to my mother and grandmother for advice, and without hesitation, they both recommended switching their formula to soy. Low and behold, that did the trick.
I'm a little confused as to why physicians in this day and time don't seem to acknowledge the possibility that the diet could be the issue. Maybe because older remedies have been rejected by the medical community? Or maybe because they aren't teaching this to medical students. Either way, these babies should not have to suffer for the sake of medical biases.

I have added your channel to my personal training as a prenatal/early childhood home visitor. The information you provide is indispensable, especially since it has been over a decade since I had my last baby. My agency provides amazing, intense training, but your videos can easily be shared with the parents I visit as an easy-to-follow resource. Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge as a professional, and a Mom!
