This was so helpful to ease my anxiety around transitioning my baby from purees to real foods. She’s 7 months and I’ve only really tried avocado but not long strips. So I’m much more at ease! Thank you!

My boy took massive bites. It didn't matter if the item was mushable, he still choked.

Perfect timing to come across this video! My son will start eating in a couple weeks. Here in Japan they start at 5 months with a thin rice puree as baby’s first food (10:1 water and rice ratio that’s then blended into a puree). Looking forward to giving my little guy all sorts of foods!

Wow this is funny, I’m eating my breakfast and it’s eggs, avocado, hummus, sweet potato hash and a banana. 😂

I had an RN tell me to never give your baby cheese or even elderly who struggle eating cheese. It is an extreme choking hazard, it’s sticky and hard to get out. Of course Hot dogs, grapes, and CUTIES. My little brother almost died eating a cutie, thankfully the person watching us knew the Heimlich maneuver.

My boy is 12 months and still eats stage 2 puree in jars. Trying to get him to eat more but any kind of chunk texture makes him gag… he has 8 teeth so I don't understand what to do 🥺

A new fan from Scotland, you two are so lovely, so relatable I’m a new granny to a gorgeous wee squishy delicious boy and I’m updating all my granny skills. My daughter and partner are amazing young people and doing a wonderful job but I do feel the young ones nowadays are under a lot of pressure at times so much information out there, your channel gives them knowledge based kind and realistic information, thank you, you are appreciated. 💙💕🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧
