Thanks you always for the insightful videos! My baby has started doing a spider pose, stretching both her arms and legs but not moving forwards. What can I do to have my baby crawl or move forward?

I have 2 issues. My lil man won't extend his fingers so is leaning on his knuckles and he doesn't like it and flops down. Second, he keeps throwing the legs out straight. Im starting to worry.

Instead of mentioning all the tips and tricks just verbally, please explain all this by enacting out with babies, that helps the best to see how to do that properly

What do you do when baby doesn't push up with their arms but "scoots" on their elbows? Like an "army crawl"? He won't sit, either. He CAN sit, but resists being put in a sitting position. He can't get into a sitting position by himself, nor does he try. But he does "scoot" using his legs and arms/elbows very proficiently. His mum is trying to get him to walk, but I think his core needs to be strengthened first. He's just shy of 8 mos. old. Tips?

    Hello, please help me
My baby is going to complete 11 months in just 1 week but she cannot crawl
She has the habit of reaching toys in tummy time by rolling over obliquely alternating left and right side
She is so reluctant to try something else to reach out for toys…. I've had hard time for the past few months convincing her and motivating her to move forward using her hand and knees…but everytime she uses the same technique of rolling over to reach for the toy
Also she has herself developed a new way of sitting upright from tummy position…she swings her legs sideways in opposite direction splitting her legs , moves them forward and pushes her body up to sit…she does this all the time
Teaching her how to crawl is becoming more difficult for me now
Please guide me what to do?

Never had a jumper for my older 3 kids. Baby 4 rolls all over the place, all the time as his crawl alternative. Which means he has a lack of aim and we have a hard time avoiding him. So we recently got him a jumper just to keep him safe for short periods without having to use his bed. He just keeps his little legs curled up and tries to swing. 😂 He really wants to crawl. But can't work out the mechanics on his own and resorts to rolling instead. Hopefully this helps, and the jumper can still be "baby jail" for short bursts after. 😂

My baby does all the things mentioned here but still only army crawls no matter how many tips I try🫩 he’s 10 months and I’m worried he won’t crawl and go straight to walking because I’ve heard that’s not good for them😪

My baby is 9 months and has the upper body strength and I feel like he is capable of doing all of this. The problem is he just stiffens like a board when I try to place him into some of the positions. Like he is stubbornly batteling us lol. And while I’m not in the super concerned stage. I’m slowly getting there. It just seems like once he figured out he can roll and pull himself everywhere he made a decision that was good enough.

My first kid hated tummy times so after 4 months I gave up. Around 7 months she learned roll over and practiced tummy time but herself. Then she learned crawling walking everything in her on timeline. I decided not push my second baby to learn anything and let him develop in his own speed. Basically was never on tummy until 6-7 months then he rolled by hymself, now 8 months not crawling but sliding on his belly. I do not say people should not exercise with their baby if they want but I think they also do everything by them selves when they are ready. Some a bit later some faster, it is not a competition. Also they learn using toilet without teaching, at 3-4 years they do by themselves. Of course there are kids who needs help I do not doubt but must of the time we are stressing the parents with too high expectations about what your kid should already do

Any tips for babies who hate tummy time? No matter what exciting toys or other things I try for her to be interested in it, my baby just has always hated it. She is now a little delayed, because I barely ever put her in tummy time. She likes to sit, but as soon as I put her on her tummy, she starts crying. We’ve been to the chiropractor and she seems fine tension wise. She’s 8.5 months and can’t even hold herself up on all fours.

My baby has being rolling back and forth setting properly but he hates tummy time. He prefer to get on his tummy himself but when I deliberately put him on his tummy he rolls back to his back. He doesn’t rolling effortlessly both back and to his stomach. He’s 7 months today, is this a hope of crawling?

Hi. I hope you would still notice this comment. I just came across with your video now when I searched what could be the reasons of may baby's delayed development. My baby's gonna turn 1 year old this May 10 and he still doesn't know how to crawl. Though he's shown signs to crawl already and he really likes to crawl, it's just that it seemed like he can't carry his body weight yet so he can't move forward. I want to know if it's still normal at his age not to crawl yet. The other thing I'm concerned about is the chewing of his foods. He still hasn't mastered chewing yet and his food now is still more on purees. I kept practicing him by giving him harder foods, but he would swallow them directly. I'm having a hard time to transition to BLW because he doesn't know how to eat by his hand yet. When I give him food on his hand, he don't eat it. But he does it the toys when I give it to him. And when it comes to foods, he wouldn't. Sometimes he would, but most of the time he won't. I just want to know if it's still completely normal at his age. Other babies that I know that's about the same age of him are developing very fast and hitting their milestones. I'm sad and worried seeing mine being behind on some of those. Thank you for the ideas.

Do you have any more coordination tips? My baby is 7 months old and definitely strong enough. Transitions from hands and knees to sitting and back very easily but he will not crawl. I’ve recently started moving his legs for him every time he moves a hand but he’s still not getting it. He’s acting like he’s trying to crawl for over a month now but can’t get it figured out. And just yesterday he started trying to pull up to stand 😅 should I knock him down until he figures out how to crawl?

Shes 7 months and was born at 35w6d gestation so i always worry she isnt where she needs to be for her age but this video just showed me how amazing shes doing 💪🏻 and gave me tips to help her to learn to crawl faster.
