I remember my little sister had this. I was so confused why it was there.
I pulled mine off lol, a few days after the hospital clipped it but before we left I pulled on the clip and sure enough it came off! My belly button is somewhere between an innie(idk how to spell it-) and an outie now
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH MAMA HELP ME WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH 👶🏻😭
"Resist urge to pull it off"
My ocd @$$: *pulls off anyway*oops
My baby's cord fell off 7 days after her birth. We didn't give her a bath until it fell off as it is advised not to get the cord wet.
Uhhh sorry but my little brother's little thing on the stump fall when he came home😮😮
My mom is pregnant so I take care of my mom because I love her ❤❤❤❤😊😊
So they replace the real umbilical cord with a plastic one…. gotcha…
KEEP YOUR PLACENTA LADIES!!!
I still have my daughters little stump ❤
Going on two weeks and it’s still on there good
My sons umbilical cord fell off at 3 days old i had to phone the maternity ward that i was in as i was not sure if that was normal due to him being my first baby
Who would want to pull that off 🤢 gross
expecting my first baby in December 🥺 does clothes hurt the stump or cause harm in any way?? and how often should I give my baby a sponge bath?
I was so nervous about the stump and relieved when it fell off.
I have a severe fear of belly buttons, especially baby ones, I almost vomited 😭😭
Last night i was worried of my baby's belly button because her diaper has a blood stain, then this morning My baby's stump fell off (she's now 9-days-old today) and now her belly button is okay ❤😊
The hospital didnt tskethe clip off my foldest i was young and it was supposed to be on there. Went to his first peds appt they couldn't get it off and didn't have the tool.. so we had to drive nack to rhe hospital he was born at like 15 min drom his dr office. Just for them to cime down to er and 2 second with a tool specifically meant to unclip them agh

Omggg never knew that this 😱 (no kids and never want kids) but interesting my sister has 7
What can you do when it starts stinking? The smell is sooo gross😂😂😂😂
Is it fine to use water and clean cloth only
What to put on it to dry it up? Or does it automatically dry up? Also for the circumcised boys do you put Vaseline on it or Neosporin?
yoink
I remember my baby brothers stump and I thought some people threw a stick at him when I was 4

My mom actually has my umbilical cord stump! Ah, 11 years ago.

"Resist the urge to pull if off"
Me: ……… I CANT DO IT
I did not want to give my newborn a bath, only a sponge bath because I did not want to wet the cord. The nurses were very condensending about that. He was my first baby, during covid at that, and I had nobody but them. They practically forced me to bathe him. So when I went home, I kept bathing him, thinking it was the correct way. His stump stayed wet no matter how much I patted it dry. Soon, it started to have a little smell. And I just stopped submerging him under water like the nurses showed me and just gave him a warm sponge bath, avoiding the peg. It dried up and fell off within 10 days from birth. He now has an outie but kinda an inni, too. I was so pissed off at myself that I didn't trust my instincts.
that jawn nasty! God Bless!
I remember when I saw the stump on my baby brother the first thing I did was try to take it out, my parents had to physically hold me back everytime he wasn't wearing a shirt cause I would've ripped it out, so you can imagine the relief I felt when they said I could pull it out(it had fallen off but my parents put it back in and let me pull it out(
I bet it itches like a mofo in the healing stage.
I’m personally not going to cut the umbilical cord until it falls off itself and I will be taking my placenta with me for my nutrients 😌
They keep the clip on actually where im from and we can keep it with the umbilical cord on it still as a baby book thing
!!
