I always got wistful watching this show because I wanted to be like all these ladies – but TBH it looked like a lot of work, and I'm too damn lazy to be carrying people through the program. Also, I hate phones WAY too much to be fielding and making calls to people who all too often are still enjoying wallowing in the problem rather than actually seeking a solution.
Does anybody else feel like the Wendy in their friend group?
The way the character Wendy was treated was a flaw. Her being bullied by all of the characters went against the narrative of supporting each other.
Being bullied by Bonnie was enough to cause a relapse for Wendy. Always despised Bonnie for doing and no other character calling her out .
Then Wendy does a complete 180⁰ after this becomes a Total Bitch
